Other unique features include a passive-speaking diaphragm that helps make it easier to communicate in a noisy environment without the need for electronics and a Scotch guard coating that helps make the shield easier to clean. We enjoyed Reviewing the 3M Ultimate, but like many respirators with face masks, you can’t wear glasses when you use it. This model is also quite heavy on your head after a few hours and extremely expensive.

The North Safety 770030L 7700 Series Silicone Half Mask Respirator is a soft non-allergenic silicone painter’s mask. The durable material helps form a better seal around your face. We like the look of the RoofWorld, but couldn’t get it to seal well on our faces And without a good seal, the mask isn’t going to work very well. We also found that it tends to fog while you’re using it, and some of the pieces are not durable and begin to fall off after only a few uses.
