Review Summary

The WORX Pegasus Work Table is a reasonably priced, high-quality tool that will cause you to wonder how you ever got anything done without it. It may look like a glorified children’s picnic table in the photos, but rest assured it is extremely sturdy, amazingly versatile, and incredibly popular.

This folding, portable work table can also function as a sawhorse as well as half of a table (for working in tight spaces). It comes with clamps and a lower storage shelf and can handle just about anything you throw on it. When tools try to do several things, they often fall short at all of them. Not this table. No matter what function you demand, it delivers.

WORX is a brand that users trust and this table will cause no exception to that reputation. Professionals applaud its fortitude at job sites, amateurs leave it set up in the garage, and countless fans have fallen so in love with it that they’ve quickly bought a second one.

Super Sturdy

Despite looking like just any flimsy plastic table, the Pegasus is rock-solid, heavy-duty plastic reinforced with aluminum. People put sheets of plywood, miter saws, circular saws, doors, and vices on this table and it doesn’t wobble or give way. It’s as sturdy-feeling as something much heavier than 30 lbs.

Super Versatile

This is billed as a table but that is only the beginning. You can make it into a smaller half-table, for use in tight spaces. You can use it as a sawhorse. You can lock it to other WORX work tables (or sawhorses) to make a bigger table. You can use the lower level shelf to store tools not in use. You can zip tie a power strip to it. You can leave screws and whatnot in the small crevices. You could even serve dinner on it. And you can do all of these things anywhere since it’s portable.

Super Functional

The Pegasus Work Table comes with two integrated clamps and four clamp dogs. These aren’t cheap and flimsy afterthoughts – they are hard-working and reliable features. The clamps swing out of the way when not in use and can be removed entirely if you want to put them to work elsewhere.

FAQ

How do you connect it to other WORX tables?
Each Pegasus table includes two link locks. These will securely attach additional Pegasus models as well as other WORX tables such as the Sidekick, Clamping Sawhorses, and the Jawhorse.

Is this table height-adjustable? Can you put wheels on it?
The table is not height-adjustable – it’s stationary at 32” in height. And no, it is not designed to accommodate the addition of wheels to the feet.

Can you hang it on the wall?
Although it does not come with a specific hook or bracket for hanging, it has many points from which it could easily be hung. Just be sure your hook is in a stud since this weighs 30 lbs.

What the Users Say

The WORX Pegasus Work Table has a cult-like fan base, professionals and amateurs alike. We haven’t quite done a statistical analysis, but anecdotal evidence tells us that just about everyone who buys one runs right out and buys another the next day – people just love this table. This is a tool that consistently exceeds expectations. And no one complains about the price tag.

What we cannot tell you is how WORX responds to customer complaints and requests about this table – because there aren’t any. There are a few users, here and there, that struggle to get the clamps to cooperate, or that pinch their hands when folding and unfolding it. And, of course, there are always a few instances of items that arrive broken after a rough shipping experience. It does come with a 30-day money back guarantee plus, if you register it online, a 6-year limited warranty.

There are two complaints that do surface repeatedly. Some users struggle to work the included clamps and/or their own additional clamps. The underside is waffled, so there is some limitation on where you can attach a clamp properly. (On the other hand, though, most users rave about the integrated clamping system.)

Others have noted that the work surface is not perfectly level, although they do concede this is not a deal-breaker unless you’re doing joining work. For pretty much any other use, you won’t even notice.

Conclusion

The WORX Pegasus Work Table is almost as perfect a tool as anyone could expect.  It is beloved by professionals and DIYers alike and stands up to a spectrum of use and abuse.  The only consistent complaint is that getting one makes you want to go get another one – not because you need it, but because it works so well you want more.  When you’re ready to replace the wooden sawhorses and sheet of plywood you inherited from your grandfather with a modern and more functional equivalent, this is the table to get.
